Connecting with the community is something that our board members highly valued. As much as we would like to encourage the community to come to our games, we are creating local events for such attraction where friends, fans and family can get together to enjoy the benefits of the beautiful game.
This past fall we managed to bring Robert Denis, Golman Pierre, Wilson Chevalier, Sala Pierre among many others in the Haitian soccer community for an amazing day of soccer. The event was a sucess with lot more fans than expected. The fans were very happy to witness our stars in action once more for those whom had the privilege before. To those who only heard but never had a chance to actually see these ballers it was a haven sent. Though Wilson Chevalier stole the show early with his charismatic soft touch and elegance that wowed the fans; yet a wicked vision still. The teams were Team Roland Denis our founder and coaching director versus Team Robert Denis and co which were the Haitian internationals. It was like a family affair where three different generation of the Denis family were present. Among them were Carlyne, Ruudy, Robert, Roland and Fabiola kids playing all together. As many of you might not know the Denis family is well known and respected in Haiti for they involvement in soccer. At the end Roland Denis and company won the exhibition game 4-3. Scorers were Evens Cadet (2), Roland and Wildy Louis for team Roland while Wilson Chevalier with 2 goals and Golman Pierre with 1.
We are exited while anticipating the next event as our board embers plan to make it a yearly meet. You guys can surely expect a better, bigger show with more activities and many others international soccer players to be present at the next event.
